The Prince of Wales attired in the fashionable dress of the time - the houpeland of blue satin lined with white. The wide sleeves are dagged at the edge, and at the neck is a band of gold passement. A belt of gold set with rubies and edged with pearls encircles the waist. The garment is worn over a paltock of green, and scarlet shoes show at the hem.
