If you are one of the many people who have difficulty opening a Compact Disks Case, I've made this Weeb Page for you. I hope that this will help you and free you from the frustration and agrivation from which I see so many of you suffer.
Hold the CD Case in the right hand, front facing you, thumb at the opening end, and the fingers at the hinge end.
Whith the thumb down and Reach over with the left hand to the opening end of the case and grasp the edges near the top and botom corners. you will notice on allmost all CD Cases that little ridges like corigations along the top and bottom edges (on the sides of the lid) notice that there are a small semicirculare patch were the ridges are in the opposite direction, that is were you are ment to grasp the lid, for best opening.
Now pull down or away from you with the thumb of your right hand while pulling up, if you have resistance from the case apply slight pressure to the front edge of the lid with the fingernail of knucle of your index finger. This will disengage the locking mechanism designed into the case
Now to extract the disc :o)
Now while you're still holding the case in yout right hand reach in and grasp the top and bottom edges of the CD as you did just now to the lid with the thumb and pointer finger.
Use the last knukle of your index finger, again, to push the retaining "devise" in the center of the disc. You may need to support the case from the back with either a knukle of the palm of right the hand. The retention devise is designed to release the disc when you press all or most of the clips in the center. This is even easier if you place the case on a solid flat surface (table, desk or speeker) also if you set the case down you can use a finger tip from the right hand to release the disc.
Now you should be holding the disc in your left hand.
